1. Independent Developer Project

Snitrix is an independent, personal software project developed and maintained solely by Snigdh (the "Developer") based in India. By accessing or using Snitrix, you acknowledge that this is a private project and agree to be bound by these unified Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Zero-Knowledge Privacy Policy

The core philosophy of Snitrix is that the Developer should not be able to read your conversations.

• End-to-End Encryption (E2EE): All messages, media, and call data are encrypted on your local device before transmission.
• No Decryption Ability: Cryptographic keys are stored only on your hardware. The Developer has NO technical means to bypass this encryption, decrypt your data, or facilitate third-party access to your message content.
• Data Minimization: We only collect your email address for account authentication and security. We do not store IP logs, geolocation data, or message metadata beyond the transient data strictly required for real-time routing.

3. Terms of Use & Prohibited Conduct

The following activities are strictly prohibited and will lead to an immediate ban:

• Engaging in any illegal activity or facilitating criminal conduct.
• Distributing malware, viruses, or conducting any form of hacking/phishing.
• Exploitation of minors, including the distribution of CSAM.
• Sending threats of violence, harassment, or mass-spam cycles.

4. Legal Consequences & Law Enforcement

The Developer does not condone, support, or facilitate illegal acts. While the technical architecture prevents the Developer from providing unencrypted message contents, the Developer will cooperate with valid legal requests from Indian authorities only to the extent of the limited metadata possessed (e.g., account registration email and timestamp).

Attempting to use Snitrix for criminal purposes does not grant you immunity from legal investigation via other investigative methods by authorities.

5. Limitation of Liability

Snitrix is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind.

• Account Information: To create an account, Snitrix requires minimal information (username/email). This is used solely for authentication and identifying you to your contacts.
• Message Metadata: Metadata storage is strictly minimized. Snitrix does not track who you are messaging or when you are online for marketing or tracking purposes.
• Contacts: Your contact list is processed locally on your device to help you find friends. Your address book is not uploaded to any remote servers.
• Device Information: We collect basic technical data (device type, OS version) to ensure the app runs smoothly and to provide support.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold the Developer harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, lawsuits, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of Snitrix, or your violation of these terms.

7. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the **Republic of India**. Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising from or relating to Snitrix shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
